Drawing cats

hi everyone today is all about cats .. yeah i am crazy cat person lol

Cat number 1

and that is my try  

using : my tablet Genius Tablet G-Pen M712X 

software : Photoshop CS6

the tools : the hard edge brush and eraser 

I still need more practice my line little not clean but will get it by time I guess

   

Cat number 2

this one i start with the tutorial steps but play a little off it  

I start at first practice some circular shapes then this shape I like it the best so i go with it and draw my cat

I used 4 layers specially the hair was kind drive me crazy lol

the layers : the outline (the pencil line art from the video) - the cat face - the hair - the ear shading 

 the first two learning strategy i had tried was ( tracing & learning from books ) I had good time and laugh a lot in the process but did not feel i am moving or improving 

I am in my 3rd learning strategy learn with tutorial I will get in dynamic drawing later and painting is not in my mind right now specially shading still getting to use to the idea digital drawing and get more comfortable then painting will be my next step

Digital drawing the beginning

hi everyone  good morning/evening

that how I had start digital drawing 

 I got my first genius tablet few days ago .. slowly getting in digital drawing .. i had drawing over some chibi Disney princess .. belle princess .. I draw with white brush on black background she look more like a ghost lol .. but i do not care i am so excited and happy .. and i finally made the tablet work by download new driver from the site lol  .. the ghost princess obviously my own drawing over the cute poor princess lol  .. i got the princess from here http://clayscence.deviantart.com/art/chibi-disney-princesses-51030902

 I practice drawing with the new tablet it easy that way ... I kind not good at drawing from my mind right now but will work on that later

the new tablet had give me hard time to work the pen pressure some time it work some time it do not i guess i will ignore it and work my way in drawing then will see what is the problem later 

please if you have any idea  .. it is Genius Tablet G-Pen M712X here what i had tried till now I had download the new driver and yes i open PS6 with it and it do not show any error in the brush setting it used to when i open with the mouse but with the tablet by magic it do not show lol and yes I had change the pen tip
